Tile Snap

Privacy Policy

My name is Ian MacLarty and I'm the creator and copyright owner of the 2019 puzzle game Tile Snap (henceforth referred to as "the game").

This privacy policy explains what data the game collects and why.

I value the privacy of my players, so the game does not collect, store or transmit any data not strictly necessary for its operation. The game stores the following information on your device while you play it:

- Your progress through the game
- Game settings
- What in-app purchases you've bought

This data is stored for the purpose of saving your progress in the game, so that when you next open the game you can continue from where you left off. This data is not transmitted to me and I do not have access to it. The data may be copied to other servers through backup or syncing procedures implemented by your operating system (e.g. Apple iCloud sync).

For iPhone/iPad users, view Apple's privacy policy here: https://www.apple.com/privacy/. For Android users, view Google's privacy policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The app provides an embedded web form for optionally signing up to my mailing list. I use Mailchimp to manage my mailing list. View Mailchimp's privacy policy here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

The game does not use any other third party services that collect, store or transmit your data. In particular the game does not collect any "analytics" about how you play the game, nor does it collect or transmit any diagnostic data. I rely on reviews and players emailing me for that kind of data. The operating system may collect and transmit crash report and usage data if you've opted in to that though your operating system.

The Tile Snap website does not collect any information about you and does not use cookies (or any other method) to track you.

If you have any questions about your privacy with regard to the game, please send me an email:
